    Android smartphones and tablets that run Android version 4.0 or greater, and are not rooted. We also accept the Kindle Fire HD, but not the first generation Kindle Fire.

    iPhone®5, iPad®, iPad mini®, and iPod touch® devices that run iOS version 5.0 or greater.

About the MI Mobile app

The MI Mobile app is a small mobile application (about 3.3 megabytes) which runs in the background of your device and is not intended to interfere with your web, app, wireless phone, or battery usage. Once installed, you should never need to re-activate the MI Mobile app, but if it ever stops running, we will notify you by e-mail. You should periodically confirm that 'Data Roaming' is checked (Android) or the "on/off" switch is turned to "on" (iOS). Please note that you are responsible for all data charges arising on your device.

After installing and activating the MI Mobile app and accepting our license agreement, no further action is needed and you can continue to use your device just as you normally do. To qualify for full member rewards, you must install, activate, and consistently run the app for at least 5 days a week (Monday –Sunday) for a consecutive 4-week period. Also, your device will need to be on and active while watching live TV (national networks and/or major cable channels) during the following hours: 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. local time or 6:00 p.m.– 11:59 p.m. at least once a week.
